Good afternoon. I'm trying to setup a scan with the following parameters:

1. Price momentum crossing the 50DMA to the upside.
2. MACD crossing above 0.
3. Stochastics Oversold.
4. Strong Volume to the upside.

How can I setup this one in telechart?

Thanks for the help.

You must define "strong volume".

(example: 2 times greater than average for
last 10 days)

Stoc lengths and smoothing?

MACD lengths and smoothing?
(histogram?)
(12,26,9?)
(exp or simple smoothing?)

Momentum length?

What level you consider "oversold"?

Thanks

Strong Volme exactly... 2 times greater than average for the last 20 to 50 days.

Fast stochastics turning up from the 0 line.

MACD 12,60 crossing over EMA 9 at the 0 line

Overall, stock price crossing over it's 50 dma.

Oversold, I consider by Stochasticks closing to the 0 line.

Does that help?

Thanks!

Jose.

What would be the length/period of the fast stochastic?

You want it to equal zero, then trigger the first day
it is positive?

For "price momentum" what is the period/length?

(I assume you are using something like rate of change?)

(or are you calling just price "price momentum"
Price crossing its 50 day moving average?)

Thanks

Stochastic is equal to 0 then trigger the first day it's positive.

Price momentum = crossing it's 50DMA.

Thanks!

How many days are used to calculate the Stocastic?

Example:

Are you using a 5 period Stocastic?

A 14 period Stocastic?

Thanks

Try these:
-----------------------------------------------------------------

C>AVGC50ANDC1<AVGC50.1

(close above the 50 simple today below yesterday)
------------------------------------------------------------------

(XAVGC12-XAVGC60)>(XAVG(XAVGC9,12)-XAVG(XAVGC60,9)) AND (XAVGC12.1-XAVGC60.1)<(XAVG(XAVGC9.1,12)-XAVG(XAVGC60.1,9))

(MACD histogram 12,60,9 above zero today below
yesterday)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

STOC5.1.1=0ANDSTOC5.1>0

(5 day STOC equal zero yesterday and above today)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

V>(2*AVGV20)

(volume greater than 2 time average volume for 20 days)
--------------------------------------------------------------

Realize that its very unlikely that all these will trigger
on the same day. You may want to consider these as parts
of scans and also custom or watchlist tab indicators.
If you use them in an easyscan keep an eye on the
stock count to see how many you are eliminating.
