what is the formula that will return stocks that trade more than an average of 1,000,000 per day. I need the formula for today and in the past.

In TC, volume is expressed in 100's of shares. A commonly used average is 90 days (but you should adjust that to taste, based on your trading hold times, IMHO). The formula to identify stocks whose 90-day average volume as of today is > 1000000 shares:

AvgV90 > 10000

If you want to find stocks whose 90-day average volume as of 20 days ago was > 1,000,000 shares, it would be:

AvgV90.20 >10000
