Hi, I am in need of a strategy condition for blocks that will filter out stocks where their 14-period ADX is below 20. If it is possible I would like to be able to adjust the period as well as the ADX value.

Thanks so much!

There is already a Strategy Condition in the Web Library under Indicators designed for this purpose called Directional Movement ADXR. If you are looking for the ADX instead of the ADXR, set the ADXR period to 1 and the +DI/-DI Period and +DI/-DI Smooth to the ADX Period.

Where is the strategy library accessed in blocks. I am having a hard time locating it for some reason, or it hasn't been updated.

Select Strategy | Conditions | Add Condition.

Everything listed in the drop-down menu besides Open and New Condition is in the Web Library.

Bruce:

My appologies. I kept referring to the indicators that I was using as %b. I should have been writing Band Width Indicators.

I was trying to come up with a factor that would put a 20/20 Band Width Indicator on the same scale as a 10/10 Band Width Scale.

Sorry about that foolish mental disconnect.

Thanks.

TLOTLAT,
That's fine, I knew what you meant from the context:

Bollinger bandwidth crossovers
%b indicator scales for 10/10 & 20/20
