Im trying 2 go back 2 year's on weekly chart's moving a week at a time while in between looking at daily chart's before moving to the next week. It's a mess .Even if u move up 5 day's at a time from last update and take holiday's into consideration it's not consistant.Another problem is when i switch weekly chart template to another template set to daily and move up 1 day it jump's to current date.when i now switch back to weekly template screen jump's to another date and goes blank. It is impossible to do an visual backtest moving ahead recording entry & exit as dr. ELDER suggest. We should have the option to set weekly chart's to calendar based.Alot of other software company's do. I love TC2007 but cant find solution to problem.

The 5-day charts (called Weekly) in TeleChart are not based on calendar weeks. The are 5-day charts. For example, if I download today's close (Wednesday) and look at a"weekly" chart in TeleChart, the most recent bar will NOT be Mon-Wed (3 days). It will be Thurs of last week to Today (5-days). Tomorrow it will be Fri to Thursday (5-days).

As you have discovered, it is possible to adjust the end date of the most recent charted bar, but this will not adjust for Market Holidays.

Scanning for calendar-based weekly candles is not possible in TeleChart UNLESS the formulas are written for each day you plan on using it (and their are still no Market Holidays unless they are manually written into the formulas).

As a side note, the charts in the Blocks are based on calendar time-frames.
