Hello

I am trying to setup a scan to detect the MACD as it crosses up through, or down through, the 0.0 using a 1 day look back 8,21,9 exponential...

your quick response to this matter is greatly appreciated!

Please try the following:

Exponential MACD 8,21,9 Histogram xUp Zero:

XAVGC8 - XAVGC21 > XAVG(XAVGC8,9) - XAVG(XAVGC21,9) AND XAVGC8.1 - XAVGC21.1 <= XAVG(XAVGC8.1,9) - XAVG(XAVGC21.1,9)

Exponential MACD 8,21,9 Histogram xDown Zero:

XAVGC8 - XAVGC21 < XAVG(XAVGC8,9) - XAVG(XAVGC21,9) AND XAVGC8.1 - XAVGC21.1 >= XAVG(XAVGC8.1,9) - XAVG(XAVGC21.1,9)

Exponential MACD 8,21,9 Histogram crossing Zero (either direction):

SGN(XAVGC8 - XAVGC21 - XAVG(XAVGC8,9) + XAVG(XAVGC21,9)) <> SGN(XAVGC8.1 - XAVGC21.1 - XAVG(XAVGC8.1,9) + XAVG(XAVGC21.1,9))
