The FLD in Hurst Cyclic Modelling is when you shift forward in time past prices 1/2 the period of the cycle (wave)of interest into future time. This requires the plot to show FLD values into future time. Can the Blocks Player program be setup with some amount of future time (beyond current time)on the X-axis? This FLD technique allows forecasting future price pauses or congestion associated with the wave cycles parsed from the composite price data. (Obviously, this can be done with a hard copy plot, but it would be nice to be able to do this electronically with the Blocks Player software.)

sobowen,
The Shifted Line Plot Code Block in my Wednesday, August 16, 2006 5:24:00 PM ET post in alligator will do this. It should also be noted that shifting everything else to the left will visually achieve the same effect as shifting the prices to the right. This can be done using the Bar Offset Block already in Blocks Player.

Bruce, thanks. The Shifted Line Plot Code Block worked great. I now have FLD lines forecasted into future times by the period amount.
Thanks again,
Steve
