Several ways to do this actually, but here's one. Save the attached .pane file to your ..\Blocks Files\Tool Parts\Chart folder, then add it just like you would any other study. Click on the symbol/company name to change the symbol.

Attachments:
Price History for Symbol.pane - 6 KB, downloaded 475 time(s).

nadiad,
Please save the attached .pane file in StockGuy's post to the following folder:

\My Documents\Blocks Files\Tool Parts\Chart

It is not designed to be opened on its own. It is designed to be added to chart from within Personal Chartist for Blocks Player. You can add it to any chart using the ADD STUDY button and then selecting Add Study | My Computer.

nadiad,
Please try this for me then:

Open Blocks Player.
Right-click on the chart and select Save Pane.
Close the window that comes up.
Close Blocks Player.

This should create the Chart folder for you (it would also be possible to create it manually from within Windows).

nadiad,
Left-clicking on the symbol in this Pane brings up QuickEdit where you can enter another symbol.

nadiad,
I have been unable to reproduce this behavior on multiple computers with multiple operating systems (in either the Production or Development versions of Blocks Player). It always brings up QuickEdit when I left click on the Symbol and Name in the upper left hand corner of the Price History for Symbol Pane that is added when using the file provided by StockGuy (this would normally be the lower pane).

I do not know what could be causing this. Perhaps your Blocks Player installation is damaged somehow. Please contact technical support.

All e-mail communication sent to support@worden.com during business hours (Monday through Friday 9AM-11PM and Saturday and Sunday 9AM-3PM ET) should be answered within 20 minutes of arrival. For an even quicker response to tech support questions, we recommend calling our voice line at (919) 408-0542 (there is no phone support on Sundays, some Market Holidays or after 9PM ET on weekdays).
