How do I write a pcf to scan for a price rate of change crossover of the zero line?

I have one other qestion. Can I scan for a crossover of one exponential moving average vs another and if so will I be able to see it on the chart?

For your moving average crossovers head here: Moving Average PCF Templates

To mark a chart when a PCF is TRUE, check this out: Visually Backtesting Specific Symbols

For your PROC crossing zero, try these:

Cross Up
C>C20 AND C1<C21

Cross Down
C<C20 AND C1>C21

Harv, sometimes it can take a few hours or a day to receive a response.

Craig,

Why would you suggest "try these"? You are overworked.

If you choose to fix it, please delete this post.

Thanks,

Unless someone edited my post between when you quoted it and when I posted it, I see no error in my post but see one in your quote.

Is there an issue I am missing?

An interesting conclusion.

I checked with Bruce and StockGuy. Nobody edited my post. I can only assume I was misquoted in your post.

Please let me know if there is problem with my formulas above. I've tested them and don't believe there is.

Craig,

Your PCFs are correct. The only error is one I made when putting in the inequalities.

I have no explaination. I must be overworked, or something?

Sorry,
Jim Murphy
