How do i write: finding the highest volume day over the past nine days ...or in other words a 10 day volume high for a stock? stock makes a high volume day..then you have to have at least 9 days in between the new stock volume high from the previous 10 day volume high... ex: vol in 100's 400, 320,330, 120,399, 388,230,330,230, 335,333, 322,520( this would be the new signal) also can i edit an existing scan? and add the above in? also who do i contact for error message = tc200o has preformed a illegal operation?

V = MAXV10 AND V10 = MAXV10.10 AND V > V10
This formula says that today's volume must be the high for the past ten days. The volume 10 days ago must be the high for the previous 10 day period. And finally, today's high volume is higher than the highe volume mark ten days ago.
Give this a try and see if it works for you.

thankyou..we are close but not quite there..can you revise it to do the following_
it must read as follows: todays volume must be a 10 day volume high and there has to be a min. of 9 trading days between todays 10 day volume high and the previous 10 day volume high....
thankyou

So what you're saying is that the 10 day high for the previous 10 days could have happened on ANY of the previous 10 days....as long as today's high is the high for the current 10 day period. Is that correct?

Try this:
V=MAXV10 AND V1<MAXV10.1 AND V2<MAXV10.2 AND V3<MAXV10.3 AND V4<MAXV10.4 AND V5<MAXV10.5 AND V6<MAXV10.6 AND V7<MAXV10.7 AND V8<MAXV10.8 AND V9<MAXV10.9
Once you have updated your new PCF you may add it as a condition to any EasyScan, previously existing or not.
You will need to contact technical support to correct the error message.
