Hi
I am trying to write a PCF to extract stocks which have crossed the 0 TSV line in the last day. The formula I am using is (TSV.38<0)AND(TSV.38<0).
However when I input this to an easy scan it throws up stocks which do not meet the criteria. eg FDC where today is 13 April and yesterday was 12 April. Is there a problem with the PCF or is it my understanding of TSV that is at fault.

Are your PCF's updated through Thursday night's market close? Are you plotting a simple or an exponential TSV? If exponential, change your PCF to this:

XAVG(TSV1.1,38)<=0 AND XAVG(TSV1,38)>0

Doug H. in reading the formula posted on April 16 at 7:34:56 I'm dealing with this same issue utilizing the indicator "TSV entering the buy zone". I find that I like to find stocks where the TSV is below zero and reversing in conjunction with a weekly stochastic. I was using the default stochastic. Craig gave me a weekly and I am still trying to coordinate both indicators but the scan which includes TSV(mentioned above) isn't producing the results.See KOMG in the 3rd quarter 05 and the 4qurter 06 where the default indicators give a good signal.

What TSV settings are you using?

What do you consider the "TSV buy zone"?

TSV(18.1<=0)and TSV(18<0) and the weekly stochastic you formulated for me. I chart KOMG on a weekly basis with TSV18 and STOCH5.2.3 in the 2nd and 3rd windows. The attempt is the capture similar stochastic lows and the TSV crossing the mov avg or zero. So I am hoping to get the chart and the scan in sync.

I will assume the weekly stoc formula I wrote for you is working fine. As I mentioned in the last thread (linked below)

Scanning for weekly Stoch.5,2,3 below 20 followed by TSV18 crosses zero

You will need to use visual sorting to find the TSV18 crossing or nearing zero on a weekly chart.
