I used to run it emulated via parralels on my mac and although patternz is free the meta software (I forgot the name at this moment) is not free. It pulls historical data from yahoo's finance server and formats correctly for import in patternz. So when the free trial ran out I couldn't utilize patternz anymore unless I wanted to manually edit the .csvs you could download from yahoo finance. The interface is so old on that software it ridiculous, it was made in windows 3.1

(URL removed by moderator) mentioned this free tool to me. Once you get it up and running it seems effective. It is very old software however.

This is an unusually high quality forum, very well moderated. If only Worden made software for MacOSX.
