Hi Bruce...I created one just using the examples...
C>XAVGC30 I am wanting to use this on a monthly chart...when I use it, it is not working properly...I assume there is something I need to change to utilize this with a monthly chart

Hi Bruce...I posted this again...sorry...I had not read your response...let me work on it and see where I get...thanks..

I want to create a easy scan in blocks that I can run that will select all stocks that have closed above a preset moving average as of the day the scan is run...I would like to be able to run this in daily, weekly or monthly views...and be able to change the figure for the moving average...I only want to be alerted though on the first bar of the change....
I tried to do this but could not get it to test clean...

I want to create a pcf for an easy scan that will detect when the closing price crosses the moving average from below the ma to above the ma...and then visa versa

Why is a front loaded moving average not available on telechart? Can a front loaded moving average be created as a personal criteria formula for use in telechart?

Hi Bruce...why is a front loaded moving average not available on Telechart?

Can a personal criteria formula be constructed that would be positive for the dmi+ crossing the dmi- for the ADX? How would I create something along these lines?
Thanks...

1. I want to scan daily for stocks where the 5 period moving average is crossing over the 20 period moving average.
2. I want to scan daily for the 14 period ADX is 30 or greater and the price touches the 20 period moving average.
I am very new to telecharts...I have also purchased the backscanner but I havent figured everything out yet...just needing some direction.
