QUOTE (StockGuy) Installing TeleChart 2007 in Windows Vista:
When you buy a new computer with Windows Vista, there are three important points to remember for installation.
1) Your user account must have Administrator rights while installing TeleChart. You can't install from an Administrator account and then run TeleChart from a different account.
2) To install TeleChart from the Internet, you should right-click the Internet Explorer icon, select the "Run As Administrator" option, and then enter www.Worden.com\TeleChartInstall\.
3) During the installation process, User Account Control will prompt you repeatedly for permission to perform various actions. You must click the "Allow" button promptly or Vista will halt the installation.
Upgrading to Windows Vista and TeleChart 2007:
When a computer with an older copy of TeleChart 2007 is upgraded to Windows Vista, you need a patch to eliminate potential problems that Vista may cause.
In TeleChart, click the Help menu and select About TeleChart. If the version number is 6.0.0048 or lower, you need a patch.
Download and run this file, which will upgrade TeleChart to a version that is Vista-compatible:
