Topic: Easy scan
Posted: Saturday, April 11, 2015 11:12:55 PM

I am looking to construct an easy scan based on creating the PCFs for the following:

Viewing a chart using at a daily view

PCF 1   - Price TODAY is greater than $ 15

PCF 2   - 30 day average Volume is greater 5 million

PCF 3   - Price TODAY is greater than 50 day SMA

PCF 4   - 20 day SMA is greater than the 50 day SMA

What would the formulas be for the above PCFs?

Viewing the same easy scan but in a weekly chary view

Also, if I wanted to look at this easy scan but in a weekly view, would the PCFs

automatically and accurately convert the daily 50 day (pcf 3) and the 20 day SMA

greater than the 50 day SMA (PCF 4) into a 50 week SMA and 20 week SMA

greater than the 50 week SMA?

Thank you

Topic: Williams %R - how to display on a chart
Posted: Tuesday, March 31, 2015 4:52:42 PM

Thanks Bruce.  Two follow up questions since Williams %R is can not be displayed into v7....

1.  PCF to show when Williams %R crosses up past -50 TODAY (anywhere between -50 up to 0)

2.  PCF to show all stocks with Williams %R between -50 to 0

     I think that the answer to question 2 is: (((MAXH10 - C) / ( MAXH10 - MINL10)) * ( - 100)) >= ( - 50)

     Is the second answer correct?

Thank you

I have TC2000 v7 and do not see the williams %R (14) as an option to display as an indicator.  Am I missing it?  Can it be displayed on a chart?

I have a Williams %R using this PCF:

(((MAXH10 - C) / ( MAXH10 - MINL10)) * ( - 100)) >= ( - 50)

that I would like to display the W %R line on the bottom of one of the charts I am creating.

I rejoined TC2000 after 5 years and am rusty and not sure how to do this.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Good evening,

what would the pcf be that would produce any stocks greater than $ 10 that increased greater than 20% in any given day in the last 12 months (250 trading days)?

thank you

Good afternoon,

How would I create a PCF to scan for stocks that show an engulfing line (bullish)?

Thank you
