Am trying to scan for the 8 EMA cross over 20 SMA 2 days ago. This is a Bullish scan.

I have a PCF that works somewhat, it gets the cross but not 2 days ago. Would you tell me what I am doing wrong??

XAVGC8.1 > AVGC20.1 AND XAVGC8.2 >= AVGC20.2

Tanks,

Have set a scan from the chart by clicking the 8 EMA on my chart and having it cross over (Bull scan) the 20 SMA. It is producing results that I would like to modify. Would like the scan results to show the the 8 to cross the 20 Two (2) days ago.

Pls help again

Where do I find "Custom PCF % True" to customize, edit or add a scan? Can not find a tab or drop down from my chart.

Thanks,

Have created a scan with mixed results, would you indicate where I need to fix it?

Looking for 3 days down candles and gap down doji and gap up green candle.

(O4>C4) AND (O3=<C4) AND (O3>3) AND (O2=<C3) AND (O2>C2) AND (H1<L2) AND (O1=C1)*.95 AND (H1>C1) AND (L1<O1) OR (O1=C1)*.95 AND (H1>O1) AND (L1<C1) AND (C>O) AND (L>H1)

Thanks,

Topic: Problem with PCF 2 days lower and gap up
Posted: Sunday, April 21, 2013 9:41:06 AM

Trying to write a PCF for 2 days with red candles yesterday open being lower than day before close (creating a 2 day down trend) and then today having a gap up from yesterday's high, with a green candle.

Scan shows only 2 results (CI, HON) and day 2 (day before yesterday) is a green candle. Also Open today is not above yesterday's high. What am I doing wrong?

(C2<O2) AND (O1<C2) AND (C1<O1) AND (O>H1) AND (C>O)

Close 2 is < open 2 should show red candle.???

Also open today is > high of yesterday ???

Both charts show yesterday's candle red which matches C1<O1 and today's candle green which matches C>O

Topic: Condition Scan 3 Bulls and Doji Gap Up
Posted: Monday, April 8, 2013 4:42:20 PM

Am having a problem with a Condition Scan for 3 Bull Days increasing in price each day and then a Doji Gap Up today. When I run a scan 'All Common Stocks', the code I am using produces 3 returns in the scan. Synbol HILL is what I am looking for. Symbol NUW shows a Bull candle 2 days ago, a Bear candle 1 day ago and a Doji today that is a gap up above yesterday's Bear candle open. The Symbol HPT.C shows a Bull candle 2 days ago, a Bear candle yesterday with a double bottom matching 2 days ago and a Doji gap up above the Bear candle open yesterday . Can you offer any suggestions, please? - Those bear candles should be Bull and no double bottoms. (C3>O3) AND (O2>O3)*.50 AND (C2>O2) AND (O1>O2)*.50 AND (O>C1) AND (O=C)*.95 AND (H>C) AND (L<O) Thanks, WayneWM 4-8-13 (Using 4-5-13 closing prices.)
