I updated all of Telechart.  This time, it worked.  Appreciate your help.

Your interpretation is correct, yet when I include this PCF into an Easyscan, the resulting stocks do not reveal the visible daily volume increase which I expect.  Far from it, in some cases.  Example: First 3 stocks that come up when I run this scan are AGN, AES, and CNO.  Any suggestions?

Having problems with a very simple algorithm to compare daily volume for the previous two days.  My PCF is V1 > V2 AND V2 > V3 AND (V1 > (V3 * 1.5)).  I'm looking for increasing volume.  What am I doing wrong?

How do I create a PCF that measures the distance between the upper and lower Bollinger bands?  I want to get a % of that relative to the 20-day MA.
Topic: Why don't PCF values for MS and BOP correspond to graph?
Posted: Friday, October 9, 2009 6:07:20 PM
I am setting up formulas that use both MS and BOP 40-day moving average, but am confused about the values of these variables.  I want values that correspond to what I am seeing on the chart.  For example, if the MS line looks to be about 75%, I expect MS1 to yield something close to .75 or 75.  Same with BOP MA.  I get something quite different, however.  How do I regurgitate what is displayed on the graph in my formula?

I'm new to Telechart and can't figure out how to generate a personal criteria comparing the real-time last price of a stock to the price of that stock at the day's opening.

I'd like to write a personal criteria formula that compares the LAST price of the stock (real time value) to the opening price of the stock at the start of the market today.  C > O doesn't give me the correct result when I 'test' my formula.
