Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to trading, been doing ALOT of homework. Made some winning trades, but I decided to step back and educate myself and paper trade for some time and establish a base method to work off of.
I like the swing trading/intermediate time frame as far as strategy.

Anyways after looking at all the sector charts, picking out some strong ones, then searching through some of the individual stocks I thought LIHRY looked good.

Volume is kind of low, but its trading right with the sector, the 10,20, and 30 day moving averages are in proper order and spreading apart. Also the ADX is above 30 and +DMI>-DMI.

It looks today like possibly the beginning of a pullback, or possibly a trend knock out?

What do you guys think??

Hi Craig,
All the Gold diggers really picked up steam the last 5 or 6 weeks. I contribute to a variety of factors. Some of the money flow from the real estate sector has been taking off of the top and going somewhere. Could be this asset class type investor has been looking at gold mining as an easy liquid hedge against inflation as an alternative to possible slowing or even devaluation of some realty areas both locally & international. LIHRY has some strong earnings. The only caution flag I see is TSV & Money Stream has lead OBV & BOP. This may be due to a tightening of float. Great demand for this one. Smooth trend line. I look at this trend by drawing a linear regression from it's April-May base line and would look to buy this trend around the regression for a support area. Just a thought.

Hi Craig --
The red BOP scares me! Look at BVN - I just took my profit and ran -- too soon! Gulpher

Hmm I just read some threads on BOP and I didn't even know it existed. I'm going to do some more research about it. Care to describe exactly what the BOP is inidcating for this stock? I would like to make sure I know exactly what it means.

Thanks

BOP is another volume indicator that spots institutional & to some extent insider activity. Sometimes just before the good/bad news. The down day volume spikes on this one looks to me like some institutional end of the quarter rebalancing & skidish profit takers taking some off the top. An interesting beta on this stock also, has a mind of it's own.
