HI,

I would like to chart some moving averages of the comparison symbol in 12.4 but can't figure out how to assign the moving average to the comparison symbol. I can do this in Stockfinder 5.0.

Thanks,

Alan

acrawshaw,

In TC2000 you can now plot symbols on your chart, the same way you would plot any other indicator.

Press the / key on your keyboard and begin typing the symbol you would like to plot as a comparison symbol on your chart.

Plot More Than Just Price and Indicators

This will plot the symbol indicator in a lower pane on your chart. Select the Move button in the upper-left corner of your chart to move/overlay this pane into the top pane with your original symbol.

Now you should have both symbols plotted together in the same chart pane.

Right-cliick on the first symbol indicator on your chart that you want to add the Moving Average to. Select Add Plot Here. Being typing Moving Average and select the Moving Average you want. This will add the Moving Average indicator to the symbol you selected.

Do the same for the comparison symbol. Click the symbol indicator and select Add Plot Here.

You may want to edit the indicators so they are displayed in different colors, that way you will be able to tell them apart. Right-click the indicator you want to edit and select Edit. Change the Plot Color to your preference and select OK.
