ZNGA worth watching imo.  Early Feb. volume/price surge, followed by mid Feb. pullback that found support at previous resistance or breakout area. Current five day consolidation holding with diminishing volume and tight daily ranges.  A longer term look shows a multi month rounding volume.

Fpetry, I like that chart of ZNGA. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Could I ask how you found this gem? Would you share your method or PCF?

Glad you like it tomson, thanks,  but I won't call it a gem unless it proves itself.  I started watching it in early Feb with a simple PCF of volume plus price surge (150%+ avg. 50day vol, up 5%+), then on feb. 25th the same pcf alerted again and so I simply placed it in my hot or main watchlist and monitored daily, hoping it would set up to my liking.  I'll keep it hot as long as it holds above its 20 simple, which coincidentally dovetails nice with its 200 simple...it seems many traders monitor both those popular moving averages, so it may have more legit merit for this setup.

Thanks for the explanation. That is my favorite pattern to put in a watch list and wait for a breakout. It is a gem to me as I have had a very good rate of return on that pattern. I have been using more or less the same method as you but mostly the old eye-ball scan which is very time consuming. I missed this one and appreciate your post.

Can take time but old eye ball scan still trumps all others I truly believe.  It's the only way to hone your pattern recognition skills.

Well that certainly did not take long. Triggered my breakout alert this morning and I bought in at $3.85

Lets see how this works out.
