Where do you read news about the entire economic and your holding stocks?
Do you use worden studio to get news? anybody can recommend some sites which is easy and organized?
I am currently an ameritrade client, they have a tool called advancedanalyzer, does anyone used it before? How do you like it. Also, they provide news from CBS Market Watch? how is CBS Market Watch?

Hi liqizin

By far imo the best news site is www briefing. com. I subscribe to its Gold package at about $9.95/mo. It has live upgrades/downgrades, stock news, great research, market updates in detail. It's research is fantastic...type in stock symbol on search page, select time period of one day to 6 mos., enter, and quick pertinent links. You want easy to use site, low graphics, and organized? Briefing fits to a T.

I also use Ameritrade but don't use the analyzer...I think it's a gimmick. I highly recommend using Medved Quote Tracker as an AMeritrade client. Medved integrates with the Ameritrade feed and bypasse buggy java, making your entire trading experience MUCH faster and RELIABLE than using the Ameritrade site or its own streamer. Medved QT has its own Level II Ameritrade module which is better imo than the analyzer. QT's streamer is much faster than AMeritrade's and holds more ticker symbols...and lets you do everything all on page with nothing but mouse clicks...you never have to type anything in....fast, fast, fast.

I use the same set-up as fpetry. Quote Tracker works great for free. I agree that Ameritrade's Analyzer is a toy compared to TC.
