 How can I indicate the S&P500 close 30 days back?  3 months back?  6 months back?

For what purpose?
 
If you have the SP500 as your active symbol.
 
C30 will give you the value 30 bars back.
 
C63 approx. 3 month ago
 
C126 approx 6 month ago.
