Gs looks like it is going to Gap up this morning. It is getting a lot of pre-market attention. (watch out for the Gap Fill). Here is the chart along with a list of charts that I will be watching today. I am part of a club that trades live together, any that have an interest in joining just let me know. All you need is a pair of headsets with a mic.

Here is the list.

Markets turned against us. We made some money scalping FAZ the rest of the list is not doing well. We are looking at the battle going on between the Financials "C" and the ultra short ETF's "SKF" right now it is a frustrating stalemate...

Apsll:    if you got time, how did you see GS possibly being ready for a long position.  i'm looking at a possible consolidation maybe.   but a better chance of dropping being it is in the financial sector.  a little help please.  or were you just trying to scalp a quickie?

Hi John how have you been? It was my intentions to day trade this along with other candidates from my list today. It is funny because the markets moved in the opposing direction than I anticipated, rendering my list obsolete and with the help of some friends I decided to play a whole different game today. I was in and out of FAZ like a lollipop in the hands of a teenybopper. I then found an interest in CAL for some extra curricular activity. This new trading group that I have found is coming together rather nicely and we help each other to see what we might not see trading alone.

But back to GS yes it was my intention to catch a bounce. As far as a longer term point of view I do see this one breaking free from its bottom formation some time soon. I believe that due to VSA accumulation patterns that there is going to be an opportunity to make some real profits here.

If you look at GS today, I am still looking for this to break through resistance based on Volume Spread Analysis. It keeps knocking on that resistance line. - A good indication that it will soon move. (a possible retest of the December lows might come first. If this happens on low volume then look for the breake-out...

how tight are your stops on FAZ?  do you see much further movement up for FAZ?

I am not using stops for this fast pace trading. If I were to contemplate putting one in then it would be at around $72.25

As long as the markets keep droping then I feel safe holding all three of these. I will unload them before the closing bell...
