For those of you who do not know  -- either Apsll or a proxy for him under a
different id left a final farewell post to everyone yesterday.
But, for some reason it got deleted by the moderators.

I guess maybe he didn't take to kindly to being suspended for a week.

At any rate, his post are the only reason that I visit this forum on a daily basis.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, right?

Sacron, mp, et al:

Do yourself a big favor and find knowledge when and where you can. Keep your emotions out of it. The perfect way to stunt your growth as a trader is to get all wrapped around the axle over something like this.

I consider apsll a friend and I believe he thinks the same of me. But, were he to have asked me, I would have told him it was foolish at best to engage with Bigblock when there was no value in the conversation. I don't know why Bigblock likes to antagonize apsll, I really don't. But, just as we would teach our sons, it takes more man to walk away from a fight than to engage in one. (And, no, I'm not saying apsll is not a man.)

Worden admin was within the bounds of their authority to enforce a cooling off period. You don't have to like what they did, you're entitled to an opinion. But, my goodness, let's not start another whole round of I-bash-you-you-bash-me.

A few (suggested) rules to live by:

A soft answer turns away wrath but grievous words stir up anger.
If it be possible, as much as lies within you, live peaceably with all men (and women)
Don't let the sun go down on your anger.
In honor prefer others above yourself.
Forgive others, God has provided forgiveness for us.
Be honest.
Be humble.
Don't be disturbed by trifles, accidents or common foibles.
If someone makes a mistake, help them up rather than beat them down.
Catch someone doing something right.
Speak the truth in your own heart first so that you may speak the truth to others.

Now, could we please get back to trading?

thanks

Excellent analogy and advice tobydad. If only more people would follow your wise words and stop their childish behavior.

What part of suspended do you not understand?

For those interested, I encourage you go back to talking about stocks, trading and the markets.  Locking thread.  For those not interested, do not post.
