hi all, i am wondering what the best settings for stockastics, macd, money stream & moving average, tsv & moving average for short term trader...

actually you can just use with the standard (exponential) settings. just put your charting software on the smaller time periods, ie 60min, 30 min, and use those buy/sell signals. you may want to check the security your charting's past history to see whether your indicator settings are giving you valid buy/sell signals. if not tweak them a little.

hi all, short term trader for me is 3 min to 4 min each trading, indicators to help me seel buy and sell signal

maybe just get some dice? lol.
sorry i couldn't resist it. i'll be interested in hearing what the board has to say. my broker does offer 1 second charts.

For trades that short all I need is a price and volume chart (one minute) and the sp500 and dj-30 chart set to match it. Then just watch for the turns. Most day trades I make come from the morning gapers (is that a word?). All indicators are so slow. You must be fast to be good IMO. AB
