NYB 5.5% dividend, a bottom or still falling? Rate this Topic:

I was curious to hear your thoughts on New York Community Bancorp (NYB 18.44). With a very attractive yield and the CEO saying in the Feb 05 conference call that if the 5-year treasury goes above 4% that the company is poised to see significant profits.

So care to go on the record with your thoughts and why you think this is at a bottom or still falling?

And FYI, I believe it's a triple bottom and as long as it holds enjoy the solid dividend.

NYB looks like it has hit a bottom. However, I would wait until it start to rise some. MS, BOP and MACD are not bullish..they are basically flat. So be patient with this stock MSN gives it a stock rating of 7, which is positive.
