Hi, I am looking for buying candidates swing or longer. Canslim doesn't deliver the proper results. Someone told me to use a scan wish bullish candle sticks and stochastich oversold. Anyone an idea how to do that? Thanks Tabis

What "bullish" candlestick patterns are you looking for? If you are not familiar with the intricate nature of candlesticks I would recomend studying up on them before you trade using them.
Same goes for Stochastics. A search of the forum will find you many PCFs and EasyScans using Stochastics. The search feature is at the top right of this page.

Thanks Craig, I am looking for scans, pcfs, which help me to select buy candidates for swing trades or longer. What scans could be used? Tabis

Tabis, we don't offer scans for something as vague and opinion-oriented as a "buy candidate". If you have a certain type of stock pattern, indicator pattern or specific situation and you have tried to scan for it on your own then we will help you with the syntax.
You will first have to decide what makes a stock a "buy candidate".
In the meantime, check out the videos in the video forum to learn more about how to use the program so when you decide what specific types of stocks you are looking for, you will have the program know-how to find them!
Let us know if you have troubles from there...
