Is Worden data providing currently out of business ( 3+ hours now) ? Rate this Topic:

I can't currently login and/or update from Wordens for 3+ hours ( from about 2:00 A.M. EST Saturday March 3rd 2007 ). I think this is a problem on Wordens side.

Either my logging in is hanging when I am trying to launch TC2007 or - when I let it run for a while it then let me to log in but when trying to update I then get a misleading Telechart error message asserting : Connection Failed: Please check your internet connection.

But this is not true because :

1. I can post this issue at Worden forum just at the same time having this TC2007 login/update problem.
2. I have 2 PCs with 2 independent Internet providers ( a cable one and an ADSL other ).
3. My TC2007 Gold Service is valid till end of June 2008

I understand that there could be sometimes technical problems. But why don't just inform a TC2007 user about it instead of wrong error on Internet connectivity issue ?!

I have cable and having the same trouble. Everything else is working Email, browsing
I belive the error you are seeing is from IE You can set the time for connection in the tools.

Same problem here as svata and for about the same time period. I'm on a sat modem. I don't see why I should need to change my IE settings yet - it has been working just fine until now and I can wait until later today to do my analysis. I think I will wait to see what the WB says later today. With multiple users having a similar problem it sure seems like the problem is on their end.

Also can not connect...two different computers...both on DSL...can't seem to get program to run off line either???

Same here. Login justs sits there.

There should be at least a timeout to indicate the server is down, but nothing. 5:12am CST.

qiweston I was not saying we need to change settings just that the time out is error is from IE not the login server. Looks like we will have to wait untill they get the login server back up... I emailed support but not sure when they start work on the week ends. Glad to see that I am not the only one up at 4:00 or 5:00 am "doing stocks"

larryhts - sorry, I knew what you meant - and what I meant to say was just that I was going to wait to see if they fix it later today rather than try to tweak my IE. My response came across wrong. Probably because I've been up since 2am! I expect we'll see a lot more people commenting on the apparent server problem soon as the world wakes up.

Arrgghh -- I got up early (5:00 AM CST) to fire-up TC and discovered that I was unable to log in as well. It would be extremely polite on Worden's part to #1 have someone monitoring the server(s) 24/7/365 and testing for login issues and #2 post appropriate information on their website for maintenance (known/unknown) issues.

Craig, here is how I see it right now. Sign in works but is slow. When trying to update personal criteria it times out and gives a "no network connection" error - which I know is wrong. Hope this feedback helps to resolve the problem.
