Please someone help with this contribution; but it looks to me that NVAX and VICL are poised for nice upward moves. Just copying GNBT?

Gnbt has some upside potential to the 2.79 area but I think nvax and vicl are better shorts than longs.

Nvax looks like a double bottom has formed. It has a higher high. The volume is increasing. Looks like a long. Get in to buy on a low volume) pullback.
My 2 cents.
Good luck

Vicl...well that one just does not look to healthy for a long just yet. It may be bottoming or not. There are better stocks to pick for longs than this.

my 2 cents.
good luck

Short term trader notes; not intraday:

See notes on GNBT and biotech; I think there's more to come if the market holds out. Any thoughts?

Blessings.

Toby I agree with your thoughts about NVAX.

I almost bought NVAX on Friday and glad I didn't but now I'm serious thinking about making a purchase on Monday. I like the support and continuation pattern thats developed. Support happens to be the 50DMA (4.03)so I'm OK with Friday closing lower. The markerts were down while NVAX remained above its support price.

Thinking about making a purchase Monday (of course this depends on opening price)with a stop limit at $4. If support holds I see NVAX attempting to move through 4.5 and if on high volume could see a run to 5.85, of course have to watch how volume looks if/when NVAX advances through 4.5

I bought NVAX today on the dip and will watch closely how it acts in the ascending triangle pattern. I have a stop in at $4, a little below the support line. The pattern indicates an upward movement should happen soon, if it doesn't and the price moves sideways through the support line I'll sell and if it moves lower my limit will kick in.

Anyone else get in on NVAX ascending triangle pattern.

My personal analysis is it's difficult to determine the breakout price because of the pattern highs not being even, they're usually a little more defined than with NVAX's current resistance / breakout point. I have it at 4.43 which NVAX is testing now as support, for this to last I beleive NVAX has to stay above this price. If not I beleive NVAX could test support again at the bottom of the triangle, which is 4.07.

Will continue to watch closely.

NVAX testing the 4.43 resistance / breakout line I mentioned above, for me to beleive the breakout has more upside two things have to happen:

1. Price remains above 4.43
2. Volume is OK today, well above average but I would feel better if it were above the distribution day on 08/14/06.

Still just over 40 minutes of trading left before afterhours begins...we'll see what happens.

8/14/06 volume 3,866,200
Todays volume 2,920,715

Another 945,485 to go in the last 30 minutes of trading....we'll see.

Maybe a rally at the close...we'll see.

(Not intraday notes; short term trader here)

VICL; Now boarding for somewhere around $8.

And, holy cow, rl, good call on NVAX, (I mean, what was that, like 10% in one day?) I didn't have the guts to get in until it gave a little break out move up. Now it's got some horsepower, look out if it gets over today's high or better yet the high of 10/16. On the other hand, it might bounce off the trendline around 4.35 one more time, than hang on to your hats.

yes, arc, I mentioned ONT yesterday, along with several others...most of which I suspect still have potential. You can see the post out in the forum.

arc, Mr. Worden commented on ONT recently; apparently he thinks it might have potential as well. The article is on the homepage of Worden.com.
Anyway, ONT has bounced off of a trendline both in late July and early Aug. It's just about to contend with that line again. The only advantage it has now is that it's gotten a couple of volume boosts this month. So I wouldn't be surprised if it can push through this time. If it gets through, I think it might be on a dead run for that May high.
Mr. Worden commented that the markets have pulled back in their channels a bit so they're not quite so overbought as they were before (overbought? right, overbought ... said "oversold" once when I meant "overbought" and made a huge fool of myself. Just have to keep :)ing, don't we?) Anyway, hopefully, the markets will cooperate and give ONT the time to make its run.
All the best to you.

Nice, NVAX 29% in a month and VICL about 35% in a month. Thanks be to God. I'll take it.

tobydad I think today may have filled the gap on 11/08. 11/07 high 4.60 and todays low is 4.62.

I bought in again on 11/07 at 4.46, good luck with this one. I'm still up from my purchase on 11/01 and from yeserday so I'm OK but I moved my stop losses way up for protection.

I think today is good for NVAX, although volume is above its 50DMA its not higher than the previous large accumualation days, not even close which to me is a good sign.
