I know that Peter Worden likes to use TSV and MS to assist him in analyzing EFTs, but I would like to know what indicators the rest of this community finds to be useful? For example, do you find that some indicators for stocks just don't work well with EFTs; or, on the other hand, that some indicators work better with EFTs than with stocks? Does the fact that some EFTs are more thinly traded than others affect your indicator choices? Are there any other considerations for your choice of indicators?
Thanks, Richard

I basically see ETF's as Mutual Funds you can trade. I don't think they necessarily need different indicators but they offer different possibilities.
ETF's allow you to take advantage of different markets in a vary simple fashion. With low costs and diversification.
Gold, foreign, commodities, sector,(energy, real estate) short funds, currency.
They also offer a snap-shot on which sectors are performing well and can be used as part of the screening process for regular stock selection.
Because of their low cost and diversification. I tend to hold ETF's longer than stocks.
I tend to focus on high volume(liquid) ETF's and the ones that are performing the best.
