In trying to search for uptrending stocks I have built this formulia. H > 50 day moving average and L < 50 day moving average. I expected to get price bar with the 50 day moving average through it. this is not what I get. How do I proceed from here?
Thanks Harvey

I am not sure you used the right syntax. Try this:
H>AVGC50 AND L<AVGC50

Make sure your moving average is of price.
That you are at the end of the chart.
That it is simple.
That you are on a daily chart.

The daily chart was the culprit. Was on weekly. However, some stocks still come up without the price bar being in the MA line. Do you have any other jewels of inf?
Thanks Harvey]

Go through this checklist to see what the problem is: Things to check if your moving averages don't "seem right" or "seem to match"
