I'm trying to create a scan that will show me charts where the 20 day moving average is above the 50 day moving average and where the 50 day moving average is above the 200 day moving average. I set up this scan and the charts do not match this criteria. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

You almost have it...
Try this:
AVGC20 > AVGC50 AND AVGC50 > AVGC200

Craig and everyone,
I used the formula "AVGC20 > AVGC50 AND AVGC50 > AVGC200" and when I ran an easy scan all my charts have the 50MA above the 20MA. This is very strange. Am I doing something wrong? Please help. Thanks.

Are you at the end of the chart? (todays date)
Are you on a daily chart?
Are your moving averages of the close?
Are you sure The ">" is correct and not "<" ?
Are your averages simple?
Are your averages plotted using price scale?
Thanks diceman

The PCF Craig S gave you is fine. Based on today's close only 1955 of the 6842 stocks met the condition. Click the PLUS (addition) symbol next to PRICE and plot all three averages, make sure to plot them in different colors.

Check this:
Things to check if your moving averages don't "seem right" or "seem to match"

Go through the checklist diceman linked above to see why your charts and results conflict.
