Hey Craig,

Can you send me the pcf for stocks that trade sideways within a channel after coming down and hitting a 52 week low. I'm noticing that a lot of buying seems to come in after a stock has been falling for a year or so and hits a bottom say a 52 week low and starts to trade sideways for about a year.

So, a recap , I 'm looking for stocks that have hit a 52 week low, then trades sideways for a year then from there I can put it in a watch list so that I can monitor it for a break out or a point of entry.

Thanks Craig

Try this for me:

Create these PCFs:

New low 1yr ago

MINL30.250=MINL250.250

Trend/Consolidate 1-yr

100*(MAXH250-MINL250)/(AVGH250-AVGL250)

Once created, please build this EasyScan:

WatchList (ALL STOCKS)
Price Per Share (limit based on your trading)
Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading)
New low 1yr ago (no limits needed)
Price Growth Rate 1-yr (LIST RANK: 20 to 80)

Once created SORT the results by Trend/Consolidate 1-yr in ASCENDING order. I think the ones you want will be at the top of the sorted list.

(you flattery will get you everywhere, btw)

Hi, Craig,
I am looking for stocks hitting a 52 week high a year ago and have been consolidated for about a year and now is trading about 5% off 52 week high. The max low within this consolidation is about 30% off the 52 week high. Can you show me how to build an EasyScan or PCF for these criteria?

Thank you for your help

Create these PCFs for me

New High 1yr ago
MAXH21.240=MAXH250.240

240-day Range as % of Low
100*(MAXH240-MINL240)/MINL240

Trend/Consolidate 240-day
100*(MAXH240-MINL240)/(AVGH240-AVGL240)

Now Create a NEW EasyScan

WatchList (ALL STOCKS)
Price Per Share (limit based on your trading)
Volume 90-day (limit based on your trading)
New High 1yr Ago (No limit needed)
Price as Percent of 52-week High (VALUE 95 to MAX)
240-day Range as % of Low (VALUE MIN to 30)

Save your EasyScan and enjoy the resulting WatchList of stocks that fit your conditions. SORT this list in ASCENDING order by the third PCF Trend/Consolidate 240-day
