I use the TC2000 Mutual Funds cd. This is the best mutual funds data service I can find and a good deal for the money. The problem is that it has disappeared! Worden doesn't mention it on this web page and seems to make no effort to promote it. Nothing can succeed if you don't try.
How many others out there are using this?
How about creating another group for discussing mutual funds since the stock program group where this is being posted is really not appropriate.

Thank you for the positive feedback on the funds program.
Your post has been moved to the newly created TC2000 for Mutual Funds discussion forum.
There are many others out there using the funds program and we hope this forum will give all of you the opportunity to discuss the program as well as your own investment strategies and fund research.

This was a good idea, creating a discussion group for the mutual funds program.
Subsequently someone reversed your decision and threw the mutual fund topics in with topics for two other products. This was a bad idea!
Sorry for the negative feedback, but put yourself in the shoes of a user of the mutual fund program. With all topics thrown together like that I have to wade through 85 irrevelant topics and scratch your head for each one trying to determine which product it applies to.
The topic titles don't typically identify which product the post applies to so it is a guessing game.
It makes your discussion groups useless for mutual fund program users. Please put it back the way it was.

The thinking here, BobD, is that all three products, TeleChart, TCNet and TC2000 for Mututal Funds all operate basically the same way. There are some differences but the overall concepts of WatchLists, EasyScans, PCFs, etc. are the same.
Before we combined them into the TeleChart forum, the TCNet and Mutual Funds forums only had a few posts each.
I did a search in the forums on "mutual funds" and based on the topics that came up, I think a forum on funds similar to the Stock and Market Talk is more in order than a forum on the program itself. A "how to" question fits into the TeleChart forum since the mechanics of the program are essentially the same as TC2000 and TCNet. But a question about mutual fund investing is a different animal altogether and questions/discussions of this type might warrant their own forum.
What the forum is called or which category it's in may seem trivial, but I don't think it is. Where to post your question or material needs to be intuitive.
I would suggest a forum under the category Market Discussion called "Mutual Fund Investing". Your thoughts?

Discussion groups need to be organized to serve people, not programs. Lumping the groups together makes it difficult for Mutual Fund users to communicate with other Mutual Fund users. The general operation of all of the programs is seldom a topic of discussion. Discussions are almost always about details.
Mutual Fund user topics are of no interest to TCNet users.

I don't think this is a good reason for cutting off the discussions entirely. You should try to use the discussion groups to stimulate interest in the products. This can't happen if they don't exist.

I think this should be determined by an analysis of the questions and not thinking about how it ought to be.
This kind of support is better provided with a FAQ than with a discussion group. If the questons and answers apply to all programs, then fine, put them in one FAQ.

In the Worden discussion groups I find that people often ignore this subtle distinction that you are trying to make. When people come to your site they usually want to discuss your products. For example in the "Market Talk" group there are plenty of topics about your TC2000 products.
I think that your first mission should be to provide effective forums for discussing your products.
PS: Please add a page to your site that offers the Mutual Fund program for sale! That should be your first priority.

I agree with BobD and other users who advocate a separate discussion group for TC2000 Funds from the other TC2000.
Firstly, each of these programs have their own followers. Therefore, they have different interests.
Secondly, the programs are vastly different. The TC2000 funds does not have such indicators as money flow, TSV, BOP, etc. Lumping the discussion of the Funds program with the other TC2000 is a big mistake.

It did happen!
Kudos to the Data Department , thank you Patrick for quick action, thank you Craig_S for keeping eye on this problem. Fund data for MWNIX is now corrected and this is very important indeed. Myself, and many others, I believe, do appreciate this improvement of your product.
cheers - alex PS. My question was about MWNIX, which is MF, on MF thread.

dalengo, your post has little to do with the thread above it. Your post is considered "off topic" because it does not relate. I am forced to lock threads that stray off topic.
In the future, if you have a question or a comment that does not directly relate to an active topic you can create your own topic by clicking the NEW TOPIC button at the top of the screen.
If you still do not see the correction on your charts in by Tuesday's download, please start a new topic and let me know.
Locking for being off topic.

Glad to see it finally came through for you....
I wish you had read all of my last reply to you, though. We have to teach you how to use the NEW TOPIC button! You keep posting at the end of threads that have nothing to do with your post....
Locking.
