Topic: VOLUME IN PCF'S
Posted: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 12:50:46 PM
are the two final zeroes truncated ... so if i wanted to say

volume > 1,000,000

I would write it: volume > 10,000

with or without commas - equally good ?

Craig,

You're the best !!!

Here's my last PCF question:

How do I write a PCF to show a stock that either (1) traded through it's 200 day moving average, or (2) closed extremely close to its 200 day moving average?

thanks again ... gz

There's alot of unused space on my screen ...

autoscaling doesn't do the job ...

chart template / scaling / custom also doesn't work well

all i need is volume bars on the bottom ... i don't use the middle window ... there's about 5 inches of blank space on my screen ... i would like to spread the price bars to fill that space ... i have used other charting software (qcharts for example) that does this perfectly ...

this is important ... what are charts for? provide a visual reference to the market ... this needs to be resolved

any ideas? thanks.

FOLLOWUP NOTE:

By the way, CVA closed at 17.65 on Friday ... again, the alert was set for 16.75

Question:

altough the alert shows on the triggered alert screen ... it did not generate an email ... any idea why that would be ... other alerts have generated emails ... i never checked for their timeliness ... are these email alerts delayed quite a bit ?

It's Saturday ... July 1 ... I put an alert in about an hour ago ... for CVA below 16.75 ... it got triggered already ... I don't really understand after hours trading much ...

questions:

through ECN's can traders make trades anytime they want?

**********************************************************************
through telechart is there a way for me to know what stocks are selling for in the premarket hours just before the market opens ?
*********************************************************************

********************************************************************
Just before the open do the inside bid and ask offer fairly accurate information? I notice frequently there's such a wide spread that they clearly aren't accurate ... maybe that observation was an anomoly ...

I'm sure these candlestick PCF'S are saved in a library somewhere online for your users ... how do I access them (vs having to rewrite them) ???

thanks ... gz
