Thank you Bruce, I'm understanding now!

Thanks Bruce, what about this formula?
C < C1 AND V < MINV2.1 AND (CL) / (HL) > .5 AND V < AVGV50
I'm trying to understand which portion of the formula represent the previous day.
Thanks

Hi,
How would I program a watchlist column to show if the following condition occured yesterday:
(H+.15) / ABS(C > C1 AND V < MINV2.1 AND V < AVGV50)
Thanks!
Yi

A Condition Formula for this can be written as follows in TC2000 v17.
C > C1 AND V > MAX(ABS(C1 < C2) * V1, 10) AND ((ABS(O / AVGC10  1) <= .03 AND (O >= AVGC10 OR (O < AVGC10 AND C > AVGC10))) OR (ABS(O / AVGC50  1) <= .03 AND (O >= AVGC50 OR (O < AVGC50 AND C > AVGC50))))
The formula is a bit longer in earlier versions of TC2000.
C > C1 AND V > ABS(C1 < C2) * V1 AND V > ABS(C2 < C3) * V2 AND V > ABS(C3 < C4) * V3 AND V > ABS(C4 < C5) * V4 AND V > ABS(C5 < C6) * V5 AND V > ABS(C6 < C7) * V6 AND V > ABS(C7 < C8) * V7 AND V > ABS(C8 < C9) * V8 AND V > ABS(C9 < C10) * V9 AND V > ABS(C10 < C11) * V10 AND ((ABS(O / AVGC10  1) <= .03 AND (O >= AVGC10 OR (O < AVGC10 AND C > AVGC10))) OR (ABS(O / AVGC50  1) <= .03 AND (O >= AVGC50 OR (O < AVGC50 AND C > AVGC50))))
Thanks Bruce! can we also add to v17 "close of candle is above 50dma in both cases?" Appreciate it.

Hello!
I'm looking for a modification to the following pocket pivot formula to make it so it only triggers when the open of the candle that the pocket pivot occurs on is within 3% above or below:
the 50 day moving average
and/or the 10 day moving average.
And if it opens below the average, is it possible to only trigger if it crosses above the average?
Is it possible to combine the two moving average conditions (and/or 10ma or 50ma) into one formula?
Current pocket pivot formula:
C > C1 AND V > ABS(C1 < C2) * V1 AND V > ABS(C2 < C3) * V2 AND V > ABS(C3 < C4) * V3 AND V > ABS(C4 < C5) * V4 AND V > ABS(C5 < C6) * V5 AND V > ABS(C6 < C7) * V6 AND V > ABS(C7 < C8) * V7 AND V > ABS(C8 < C9) * V8 AND V > ABS(C9 < C10) * V9 AND V > ABS(C10 < C11) * V10
Thank you!
Yi

Nevermind, I figured it out

Hi, I was wondering how to create an watchlist column that shows a checkmark if this formula is true in any of the the last 5 trading days.
C > C1 AND V > ABS(C1 < C2) * V1 AND V > ABS(C2 < C3) * V2 AND V > ABS(C3 < C4) * V3 AND V > ABS(C4 < C5) * V4 AND V > ABS(C5 < C6) * V5 AND V > ABS(C6 < C7) * V6 AND V > ABS(C7 < C8) * V7 AND V > ABS(C8 < C9) * V8 AND V > ABS(C9 < C10) * V9 AND V > ABS(C10 < C11) * V10
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm looking for an scan for the following criteria:
1. A consolidation period of at least 30 bars (preferably within a % range but not necessary)
2. Price breaks above high of consolidation range
3. Volume on breakout bar is greater than 50 day average
4. Occured within the last 5 trading days
I tried to search for similar ones but couldn't find any that worked.
Thanks much!
Yi
Note one #1: It can be either a horizontal base or a downward sloping channel with the breakout above the top falling channel line instead of the high of the base (Not sure if this is possible)

Thank you! Do you know about how to add "closing in upper half of candle" to that as well?
