Topic: Scan Help for MACD

I would like to create a scan on the MACD based on the rate of change of the indicator.  Let me give you a scenario:  The MACD has the following results

Day 1: 1.00

Day 2: 1.5  

Day 3: 1.75.  

The difference between the first two days was 0.5 while the difference between days 2 and 3 was 0.25.  How can I create a scan to identify when the rate of change slows down?  The formula could include  absolute values since I wish to identify these changes in either positive or negative territory.  I hope I was clear as to my intentions.
