Scan for stocks within 2% of its 50MA Rate this Topic:

How can I create a scan that scans for stocks that are within 2% of its 50MA, I thinking i might need two scans one for 2% under and one for 2% over its 50MA

No, you can do it with one scan condition:

C > AVGC50 * .98 AND C < AVGC50 * 1.02

If you're using an exponential average, use XAVG instead of AVG.
