Hi Guys,

Assuming daily XTSV18 . . .

Is this the correct PCF & scan setup when I'm screening for prices below the zero line but > each of the last 3 days?

"XAVG(TSV18.1>TSV18.2>TSV18.3)<0"?

Would I set my scan to XAVG TSV  Value: Min to -1?

Thanks.

David

You cannot chain in the language.  You have to write it this way:

Xavg(TSV1.0,18)<0 AND

Xavg(TSV1.1,18)<0 AND

Xavg(TSV1.2,18)<0

Hi Craig,

I ran some scans and find all this formular gets me are stocks with  XAVG(TSV) under the zero line.

As stated in my original clarification request I also want the value increasing (>) each of the last 3 days.

How do I address that in the formula?  Thanks again.

David

Is your plotted TSV exponential with a smoothing period of 18 and are you looking at a daily chart that is up to date?

If so, can you give me a stock where you see this?

My TSV exponential is based on 18 days, no smoothing.

I am not looking at anything, not looking at a chart.

I want to put this PCF into different scans on a variety of watchlists.

The daily chart I would be using would be up to date via update and real time streaming via Platinum service; the 2 items I desire in this PCF are "below the zero line" (which I know how to do) and "increasing XTSV value each of the last 3 trading days" (which I don't know how to do).   XTSV18,3 is less than XTSV18,2 is less than XTSV18,1.   Hopefully I've been clear enough, let me know if you still need more inputs or clarifications, thanks again and what is your advice?

David

I'm sorry, I misread your post.  I thought you were reporting that the stocks were NOT below zero.

Try this:

Xavg(TSV1.0,18) < 0 AND
Xavg(TSV1.0,18) > Xavg(TSV1.1,18) AND
Xavg(TSV1.1,18) > Xavg(TSV1.2,18) AND
Xavg(TSV1.2,18) > Xavg(TSV1.3,18)
