my question is about the word volume in the On Balance Volume indicator . Does it refer to the dollar value of stocks bought or sold or the number of stocks bought or sold ?
I would also appreciate some clearity of the word volume in the TSV and BOP indicators-is it a measure of dollars or issues. And is Money stream an indication of dollar amounts or issue amounts?

I cannot comment on TSV or BOP. Their formulas are proprietary.

If you click on the Knowledge Base tab at the top of this page and search for OBV you will find the explanation of how its calculated.

It is based on the actual volume numbers. This number is added if the stock closed up, it is subtracted if the stock closed down.
