I've ridden the bull up over the last few months, but I now see a lot of selling. I think the elections are just one part, not the whole thing.

Either way, I think a substantial pullback is in the works.

Any comments?

I guess it would depend on your timeframes and your
definition of substantial.

(I've seen this type of post for many months and its been
proven wrong every time)

For what its worth I like to see fear.

When people tell me how high the markets going
that's when I'll be worried.

Thanks

You can't predict the next couple months based on all the cross currents we've seen this week.

I see the divergence using the MACD on all three major indexes on the daily chart. I also see it on other indexes that I follow plus a number of industry groups. I share your concerns.

Traditionally Thanksgiving week has been real strong so I'm unsure what to do.

We may get a short retracement this week with some upside the following week.

We shall see.

Divergences can last for a while. Stay long, keep tight stops, partially hedge your positions. It is often better to react to the correction rather than trying to predict the correction.
