Hi there,

I really liked today's Worden Report's formula, I was trying to build it, but couldn't write complete formula, Can you please help me out.

(Low today < Previous 10 day Low
Todays Range > Average Range of the last 20 days
Close today in the top 50% of the days range
Close today > Close yesterday
Volume today > Highest Volume of the previous 10 days)

Buy at the Close.  Sell on the first profitable close above the entry price. The results (attached) are nothing short of spectacular.  The QQQQ's were profitable 100% of the time under these conditions, with an average gain of 1.6% (after commission) and an average holding period of just under 3 days.  That works out to an annualized gain of over 140%.

Try:

(Low today < Previous 10 day Low

L<MINL10.1

Todays Range > Average Range of the last 20 days

(H-L)>(AVGH20-AVGL20)

Close today in the top 50% of the days range

C>(H+L)*.5

Close today > Close yesterday

C>C1

Volume today > Highest Volume of the previous 10 days)

V>MAXV10.1

Hope that helps
Good Luck

Diceman,
Can you also help me with the formula by reversing it to look for shorts?
Thanks,

Try:

H>MAXH10.1

(H-L)>(AVGH20-AVGL20)

C<(H+L)*.5

C<C1

V>MAXV10.1

Realize that this is just a guess on my part. It may not be a good screen for shorts.

It is simply the inverse of the other post. (on the conditions that I think should be flipped)

Its possible that "V>MAXV10.1" should be V<MINV10.1 it is a
matter of opinion.

I would build a watchlist of stocks this finds and track their results to
see if it is meeting your needs.

Hope that helps
Good Luck
