I need help in building the following buy strategy:

1. An earnings-to-price yield at least twice the AAA bond yield.

2. A P/E ratio less than 40% of the highest P/E ratio the stock had over the past five years.

3. A dividend yield of at least two-thirds the AAA bond yield.

4. Stock price below two-thirds of tangible book value per share.

5. Stock price below two-thirds "net current asset value."

RISK CRITERIA:

6. Total debt less than book value

7. Current ratio greater than two.

8. Total debt less than twice "net current asset."

9. Earnings growth of prior 10 years at least at a 7% annual compound rate.

10. Stability of growth of earnings in that no more than two declines of 5% or more in year-end earnings in the prior 10 years are permissible.

Thanks

There is a box for Price/earing ratio but what source of input do I need to get correct P/E ratios. Price history input does not give me correct format for P/E ratios.

Bruce do you have Brock program? If you do please check and find out how to get P/E ratios for canadian stocks.

Thanks

When I followed your instruction for P/E ratio another box open asking for imput. What should I use. If I use price history then all I am getting is stock price. What I want to do is check hisorical data of P/E ratios for the stock to see if it is trading above or below historical P/E ratios.

Thanks

QUOTE (jthanki)
Hi Bruce:

Points are for trading Mini Dow futures and each point is worth $5.00 But for trading stock it would be dollar and cents.

I will advice you if any changes are needed once I can open my Block player and can review, what you have done so far.

Thanks

Hi Bruce:

I opened Blocks Player charts and average bar range is not visible in my charts.

What do I need to do to make it active?

Thanks

Jay
