Topic: 20 day high/low
Posted: Thursday, February 16, 2006 9:28:46 AM
Hi Craig,
I guess I should have asked this before - I'm trying to find the turtle soup pattern:
I scan for a 20 day high, where the previous 20 day high was at least 4 trading days away.. how'd I do that?

thanks again!

Topic: Channel Breakouts

Hi, I am wondering how to program telechart to look for channel breakouts in the last x days? so I'm looking for stocks which have just had a high in the last 30 days - the idea is that I want to trade the breakout. Also want to look for the lows - so loweset low in the last 30 days..

Thanks for your help chaps.

hi guys, thanks for the response . I'm trying to workout my stops as recommended by Van Tharp. Hr talks about using volatility to workout where your stop should be, the idea being that you place your stop just outside of the volatility or noise so you dont get stopped out prematurely (let me know if I've got this all wrong, still new )

I saw that tcscan has something like this inbuilt, I want to do the same thing with telechart.

Your comments and suggestions are most welcome.
