WIll Worden be at the Money Show's Traders Expo in NY?
No more webinars? Website hasn't been updated in quite some time. No tweets from Michael Thompson since April. Everything okay there?
OK, I'm playing around with a custom PCF using OBV. I chart OBV with an arbitrary 7 day SMA. Then I go to the PCF and type OBV and it matches OBV. Then I do OBV7 and it matches the 7 day SMA. Perfect! So in the custom PCF I do an OBV/OBV7. The chart shows 1.07 for the SPY. Then I "Add Column to Watchlist" but the value is different showing .20 at the time Why are the values different?
Will Worden be at the NY Traders Expo next week (Presidents Day)? Thanks!
My problem with the discrepencies is that 9+ days of a daily value of 100 and a weekly of -100 can't be a helpful indicator. One thing is green to yellow or yellow to red green to red - but complete opposites?
Maybe make it a user defined field. Leave 100 days as the default. Let the user "edit" the peiod to their liking lkie other indicators... just a suggestion.
How do you put the TRIN in a PCF? Would it make sense to try and combine them to 1 indicator?
Both TRIN and the 2 period RSI are good short term indicators so wondering if it made sense to try and combine into 1 reading. How can you create a PCF that combines them (TRIN & 2 period Wilder's RSI of SP-500). (100-RSI) * TRIN
I see what you are saying but it seems strange that the numbers are so drastically opposite? It almost makes it impossible to use/trust. Weekly negative (-100) and multiple high up days. A stock like AFFY will drive you crazy looking at BOP from 1 day to a 9 day chart.
Hi. Occasionally I'll see a stock with a high BOP (50+) for several days (6+) yet when I look at the weekly chart the BOP is -100. Example today is HWG. The daily BOP is 100,100,100, 34, 94, 99 (today) but the weekly is -100. Even the 2-day and 3-day charts show high BOP. Can you explain this? Thanks!
