Based on new versions - is this still the best way to scan for DI crossovers ?

No. There is new syntax for ADX, +DI and -DI which can be used instead in TC2000 v17.

So the following can check for a +DI crossing up through -DI with a period of 14.

XUP(DIPLUS14, DIMINUS14)

Directional Movement +DI -DI ADX
