Hello. I am trying to write a PCF using the criteria below.

today's high > yesterday's max

new 45 day high

today's price range >= yesterday's max

the price range is the biggest in the past 10 days

here was the starting point I am working with:

  • today's high> yesterday's max (44, high) AND today's range>=yesterday's max (9, range).

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Please try the following Condition Formula in TC2000 v17.

H > MAXH44.1 AND H - L >= MAX(H1 - L1, 9)

Thank you, Bruce. I would like to add the following conditions to the above mentioned formula: high <= high of day 1 and low >= low of day 1. Is this correct?

H > MAXH44.1 AND H - L >= MAX(H1 - L1, 9) AND H<H1 AND L>L1

I am going to assume this bar has to follow the setup since the high can't be below the previous high if it is a new high and the bar can't be entirely contained by the previous bar if it is the largest bar in the most recent 10 bars.

If this assumption is correct, then you would need to add 1 to all of the bars ago parameters in the previous formula.

H1 > MAXH44.2 AND H1 - L1 >= MAX(H2 - L2, 9) AND H1 > H AND L > L1
