Hi Bruce , Is it possible to run a scan that would list stocks where "Relative Strength vs SPY" crossed above 50(ma)?
When I try his , the scan seems to loop, i.e. run contiuously.

How are you creating the scan condition? You can't create a condition from the Relative Strength vs Symbol plot.

You might want to try adding a 50 period moving average to a Relative Strength 1-Yr (vs SP-500) indicator instead. This should work when creating a condition and should be fairly similar.
