Is there a way to scan for rsi hidden divergence and not just regular divergence?

If you mean there is a new high or new low in either RSI or price but not the other, then we can do so when the new high or new low is in RSI but not when the new high or new low is in price.

Let's say you are looking for a 20-period new high in RSI. You can do this by clicking on RSI and selecting Create Scan Condition to create a condition for a 20-period new high.

Create Conditions from Your Chart (5:25)

You can then create a Condition Formula checking for price not being at its 20 bar high.

Writing Custom Conditions: The Basics (40:36)

H < MAXH20

And then add both conditions to the same EasyScan.

Building a Scan with Multiple Conditions (7:29)

But a Condition Formula for a Wilder's smootheng RSI not being at a new high is too long and slow to be practical or post in the forums. if the RSI is the plain RSI indicator without Wilder's smoothing, the not at a 20-bar high Condition Formula could be written as follows (14-period RSI as an example).

RSI14 < MAX(RSI14,20)
