Can you elaborate on this? I have watched the MACD Video and trading style needs a better clarification for me.Can you expound upon this?

Simply that if you are a short term trader, as opposed to a longer term investor, your MACD setings might tend to be shorter. Different people have specific reasons for using particular settings, often based on the kind of trading/investing they do. To get more input on this topic for you, I will move this thread to the Stock and Market Talk forum, where others may well jump in with their ideas about different MACD settings for different styles.
