I am reading Candlestick Charting Demystified and the author, Wayne A. Corbitt, mentions an indicator he developed, VPP (Volume Percent Positive). I've had no success locating info on it. Anyone else heard of this?

I have not been able to locate any info on it either. This very post is the first result when searching for "volume percent positive" indicator.

The table of contents of Candlestick Charting Demystified by Wayne A. Corbitt can also be found in the sourch results. It would seem to indicate there is a section on Volume Percent Positive starting on page 202. Is the indicator not described there?

Mr. Corbitt does spell it out on page 203. I am having difficulty translating this into an indicator PCF.

If it would not be a copyright infringement, I could to pass it on to you.

You cannot directly copy the description and paste it into the forums as the particular expression of an idea or algorithm is subject to copyright (posting a small excerpt here may or may not be fair use, I am not a lawyer).

That said, the algorithm itself cannot be copyrighted or patented. So if you can describe the algorithm from the book in your own words, we might be able to help you convert it into a TC2000 indicator.
